  1. The network trys to avoid lots of rules.  It will appreciate your
  2. following this guideline in entering messages into the network:

  4. AVOID OVERQUOTING
  5.   Quoting should be a memory jogger.  It should not be long.  It should
  6.   not contain all of the message you are replying to.  Each messages
  7.   references the message it is replying to.  If the recipient needs to
  8.   refresh his memory further, he can read the message again.  Sysop
  9.   spend $$$ for the long-distance calls to provide this network to you.
  10.   Overquoting becomes costly-redundancy for them
  11.  
  12. FANCY SIGNATURES and EXTRANEOUS HUMOR
  13.   Your signature is always part of the message header.  Placing it in
  14.   the body of your messages can also add to the networks costs.  Cute
  15.   little saying and humor can be left in the off-topic conference.
  16.   Limit these goodies to your tag line in all other conferences.

  18. ANSI MESSAGES -- AT MACROS
  19.   Do not include ANSI codes or BBS macros in your messages.  Many
  20.   bbs can and do filter them out.  The result is your pretty message
  21.   becomes a garbled mess.  Macros that change colors etc. on certain
  22.   bbs's are also prohibited.

  25.   Try to change your SUBJECT: when you are changing the topic.
  26.   Maintain common courtesy.
